Discovering Your Own Creative Style
After mentioning in the first seminar that I was only creative when I wanted to be, I thought I would see if there are specific triggers that cause one to be creative. I have come across quite an good blog about “Discovering your own creative style”, this blog gives a list of what makes other people creative. It is quite interesting to see what makes other people creative.
One of the best comments that I thought was made “I talk to creative people, especially anyone under 7 years old.” by a Liz Strauss, her particular reference to children under 7 being especially creative has made me wonder, do we lose creativity as we get older? I think a this question calls for a bit more research and blog searching!
I quite want to know, do you guys think that you have lost/are losing your ability to be creative as you have gotten older?

This is much harder than it looks!
So here it goes, my first blog. It has proved to be quite difficult to get to this point, writing a blog, but hopefully by the end of this term I will be a dab hand. We shall have to see.
I went into the first lecture agreeing with the fact that there is a lot of room for creativity within the arts, however, I was slightly aprehensive as to how students can be creative iwithin the sciences. Surely learners are being taught concrete and well established scientific facts or mathematecial formulas etc, how is there any room for creativity? It will be interesting to see how this idea develops throughout the forthcoming weeks of lectures.
